Hello Grade Six,
I miss you and our crazy fun times in the classroom. But sadly, this letter will have to do for now. Like you, I am also trying to adjust to this transition online. I believe we will be successful when we practice patience and understanding with me and with each other. I will try my best to keep to our regular school schedule, so we can still feel somewhat “normal.” Don’t worry; your new workload shouldn’t be too overwhelming for you. Unfortunately, I don’t have all of the answers for you and your family. I do not know how long our online classroom will last, so I am assigning homework and giving your materials for each month, with the intention that you will hand in your completed work and pick up new monthly homework. I do not recommend you leave everything for the last minute. I am sending all of your personal belongings from your cubby and from your locker home. I am sending some school textbooks home. Please take care of them, since you will return them at the end of the school year. This is the homework I have assigned for this month:
I will continue to use the class blog as our planner (theteacherkatsclass.weebly.com), Zoom, YouTube (only accessible with a link), and Google Classroom. Please make sure you have access to Google classroom, which can only be accessed with your OLGC school account. To access you school Google account, please follow this template: [email protected]/. For example, Billie Eilish’s email would be: [email protected] If you have not changed your password, it should be classof2021 Any problems or questions, please contact Miss Manuel immediately. Class Schedule (Times may change, please check Google Classroom and the class blog) I understand most of you will be competing with siblings and family members for Internet time, so I tried my best to limit our time online. Our class schedule will be as follows: All of these will be held on the Zoom platform Monday (10:30-11:30 AM)
You can always email me anytime, and I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Please remind your parents to email me at [email protected] so I can relay more important information to them.

Hi Miss Manuel, I was wondering how to access your student email from home? Is there a website you go to?
